HOW TO LINK YOUR ANALYTICS ACCOUNT WITH WEBSITE?

Now there are various people who must have felt quite frustrated trying to figure out how one can add a new website to Google analytics for tracking. This is because Google Analytics interface keeps on changing every now and then.
Few simple steps to link your website with Google Analytics:

First of all, SIGN IN to your Google Analytics account.

Secondly, Click the ADMIN link in the sidebar.

Thirdly, Select the account from the menu in the ACCOUNT column which you want to link to your website.

Then Select the property from the menu in the PROPERTY column.

Now under PROPERTY, click TRACKING INFO.

After this click TRACKING CODE.

Now the TRACKING ID for your website will be displayed under Website Tracking >> GLOBAL SITE TAG
- Step 8
After getting this code, COPY this GLOBAL SITE TAG CODE and paste it right after the <head> tag on each page of your website.
If your website is in word press format, then go to APPEARANCE >> EDITOR >> HEADER.PHP
You can also VERIFY if your website is linked to Google Analytics or not. After linking your website just go to your website and Check whether your visit is recorded in Real-time Reports or not.
If it recorded then you are successful in linking your website.
