Motorola One Fusion+ Launch : North America

MOTOROLA ONE FUSION+: samblogger01

Motorola has rolled out its budget-oriented smartphone, the One Fusion Plus. It’s been a while since Motorola has launched the One Fusion Plus in Latin America. But it is finally some good news for the Motorola fans in North America as the company announced the launch of their budget smartphone One Fusion Plus. This will come as a direct rival to the recently launched Google pixel 4A even though the phone is priced $399, which is $50 above the Google pixel 4A.

The phone surely has a lot to offer when it comes to specs for the extra $50 you pay. Just like the Pixel 4A, Motorola One Fusion Plus has a body made entirely out of plastic. It is a slightly bulky device because it packs in a 5000mAh battery. You get an IPS display in the front which is a good quality display offering some decent viewing angles. There is no notch or punch-hole in the display, Motorola has decided to go with the pop-up camera for this one, making the screen look seamless and modern.

It has the same chipset as the Pixel 4A, a Snapdragon 730G. But performance-wise it somehow manages to deliver more than the Google Pixel 4A. This is quite a powerful smartphone that dashes through the day to day tasks with ease, and even heavy games work fine in the device. The device runs on Android 10 and provides a close to stock Android experience. The default OS has no bloatware or junk pre-installed. It has a clean Motorola UI with some useful features like gesture controls for quick navigation.

The camera has a 64-megapixel primary sensor that takes decent photos in daylight conditions but struggles as the lights go dim. There is an ultra-wide camera and a macro lens as well. However, you may lose a considerable amount of clarity using one of these lenses. Thankfully Motorola has decided to keep the 3.5 mm headphone jack as this is a budget-oriented smartphone.

The battery is a department where this phone doesn’t disappoint at all. It packs in a massive 5000mAh battery that can easily last for 8 to 9 hours. Even with heavy usages like video playback, video rendering, or heavy gaming, the phone will easily last throughout the day.however it is worth mentioning that the charging time is very high. It takes up to 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 50%, but it takes almost two and a half hours for the phone to charge completely.

All in all the One Fusion Plus is an excellent smartphone for the price it comes and will give a stiff competition to the Google Pixel 4A.
